Student Visas in Singapore

International students planning to study in Singapore must first obtain a student visa. After receiving your acceptance letter, your university will issue a visa. You must apply for a Student Pass with the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) within two weeks of acceptance, no more than two months before your course starts and no later than one month before. This is done through the Student's Pass Online Application and Registration System (SOLAR). Your university will provide registration details for you to complete and submit the paperwork. Upon arrival in Singapore, finish the process by scheduling an appointment with the ICA and bringing your disembarkation/embarkation card received at arrival.
